OUT OF HAND. A really cool sketching session organized by DIG Dubai at Club Ocha — hidden away in a room in a basement parking lot. Even finding the place was part of the adventure. Great atmosphere, lots of cool people from the creative industry, sketching, chatting and exchanging ideas. And for the sketch itself, I decided to challenge my habits. Being a lefty, I did the entire sketch with my right hand, letting go of control and precision. Then switched back to my left hand and a black Sharpie to fill in the blacks. Awkward, spontaneous, imperfect — and a lot of fun. Sometimes creativity starts when you stop doing things the way you normally do.
